2005-09-01 Branch builds


  • Fixed: 265028 - Clearing cache sometimes fails.
  • Fixed: 196270 - Numeric line-height is not rendered identically to equivalent length or percent-based line-height.

Fixes for regressions:

  • Fixed: 246560 - [gtk2] Adobe Acroread, xpdf and other full-page plugins(mozplugger + openoffice, etc) are not working.
  • Fixed: 305181 - Crash when navigating between Gmail and another URL.
  • Fixed: 306580 - Crash when refreshing view source.

No major regressions since Deer Park Alpha 2.

    I just thought I’d mention that binary updates are now enabled. If you have the latest build, either wait till tomorrow to test it, or uninstall today’s build, install yesterday’s and then go to check for updates to witness the miracle of 200-300KB Firefox updates.

    Indeed, I had 20050831 and to go to 20050901 it took 237k :-) Very nice!

    I just got auto-updated as well. Surprised me as I didn’t know that was in effect too. :)

    I.e. a dialog box popped up out of the blue telling me there was a new version out and if I would like to update immediately or next time I started Firefox.

    So I guess the auto-update system updated itself to get binary updates. lol

    It works but why doesn’t it update to the latest version… now I have updated 4 time to have the latest verion
