2004-02-08 Trunk builds

  • Fixed on trunk and branch: 233391 - apply charset name canonicalization (bug 224748) to toolkit
  • Fixed on trunk: make the toolbar and menubar look a bit better on windows and gnome. (I don't see any difference on WinXP.)
  • Continued regression: 232617 - Location Bar dropdown loads new tab.

Windows builds: djeter's, stipe's G6 SSE, G7, G7 SSE

Linux builds: Official Linux, Official Linux+xft+gtk2

Mac builds: Official Mac

    I found an undocumented bug:

    Right click on a bookmark in the bookmarks menu and click open in new tab. Works in Firefox 0.8 but not in 1.7a trunk builds.

    Seems to work for me.
