2003-12-26 Branch builds

  • Continued branch-only regression: 228986 - crash after installing two extensions without restart.
  • Installer problem: 228672 - Installer deletes any non-Firebird files in the installation directory (if you check the "Safe Upgrade" box, which is unchecked by default on the branch)
  • Continued regression: 228648 - Some WinXP users report crashes at startup.

Windows builds: No official Windows builds, scragz's G7 SSE2, G7 SSE, G6 SSE, G7

Linux builds: Official Linux, Official Linux+xft+gtk2

    I first noticed this bookmarking bug in the Dec 23rd Win32 branch, and it is still in the current Dec 26th branch (I have not tested the trunk). Firebird is no longer saving the last used (or selected) bookmark folder after closing the browser. Instead, it is defaulting to the most newly created (latest creation date) bookmark folder.
