MozillaZine: Mozilla Firefox 0.9 Released.

Download using HTTP or download using BitTorrent.

If you've been following the trunk with The Burning Edge, the interesting things about 0.9 are:

• A new default theme, Winstripe.
• Theme/extension managers that actually work.
• Increased stability from being on a branch.

If you're coming from 0.8, or if you want to be reminded of the big improvements between 0.8 and 0.9, read the release notes or the bigger picture.

In addition to 0.9, there is also a new official site for Firefox themes and extensions, update.mozilla.org.

Firefox 0.9 will be released soon from the Aviary branch, which is not the same as the 1.7 branch.

The branch has a new theme, Winstripe, which has not yet been checked in on the trunk. It also has a different version of the theme and extension manager than on the trunk.
