2004-06-29 Trunk builds

  • Fixed: Winstripe update with new toolbar buttons.
  • Fixed: 245335/247322 - show a warning when an incompatible extension is being installed and prevent invalid extension metadata from being written to the manifest files during this process.
  • Fixed: Prevent "Finishing Extension Installation this may take a minute..." window from blocking the app from starting when there is a js error - now simply log the error.
  • Fixed: 246014 - Firefox does not select default locale for extension when an extension with multiple locales is installed
  • Fixed: Safeguard against infinite restarts of ngapps in the event that CheckForMismatches fails due to a bad Extensions.rdf file generated by a faulty nightly build.
  • Since ~June 10: 246168 - [Linux] '-remote "openURL(<url>, new-tab)"' no longer works
  • Since ~June 2: 245327 - theme switch clears all tabs, disables their history, can't close these tabs.

the new theme doesn’t seem to be packaged for mac in either 0.9.1 or the trunk builds…

  2. Cell Says:

The new theme isn’t packaged for the Mac because it’s not a mac theme. It’s WINstripe, for Windows. ;)

  3. BISI Says:

    Winstripe – Windows theme
    Pinstripe – Mac theme
    Gnomestripe – Linux (gnome) theme

I’ve moved from trunk to branch… for some reason http-auth doesn’t work right… I don’t get a dialog… it goes straight to “couln’t authenticate”… no one else has this problem… so I”m guessing it is an extension issue.. and I’m too lazy to track it down ;)

  5. David Stone Says:

I’m having the same HTTP Authentication issue with both NTLM and basic authentication sites. Haven’t tried Digest as I don’t have access to a Windows Domain Controller. Also, I only have one extension installed right now. The All-in-one mouse gestures extension. So I doubt that’s the reason.

It only recently stopped working though, and I was about to go test out a bunch of the old nightlies to figure out which version it stopped working in.

Scratch that. Working for me again on tonight’s build (2004-07-01-11-0.9).
