2004-07-23 Branch builds

  • Fixed: 226791 - Theme switch clears all tabs, disables their history, can't close these tabs. (Theme switching still screws up toolbar icons, so the bug hasn't been marked as fixed.)
  • Fixed: 248549 - Add undetected document.all support. (Checked in 08:49 PDT, too late for some builds.)
  • Fixed: 166395 - Add ability to override navigator.appName and navigator.appVersion from prefs.js.
  • Fixed: 252546 - Don't import IE homepage.
  • Fixed: New icons in find toolbar.
  • Since ~March 15 or ~June 8: 246078 - URLs from other apps result in two Firefox windows or a window and an error dialog.

Windows builds: No official Windows builds (discussion), bangbang's O2 G7 SSE2, moox's builds

Linux builds: Official Linux, Official Linux installer, lokean's SSE with SVG

Mac builds: Official Mac

The (IMHO) most annoying bug has been fixed today:
#231393 – Tab URL does not persist on bad links if tabs switched

The last regression on your list has been marked “FIXED”, no more red on your list: :-)
#246078 – URLs from other apps result in two Firefox windows or a window and an error dialog

I’ve just checked in a patch that will hopefully fix this bug. DDE is very
difficult to debug so I’m not positive that it’ll work in all cases…

A fresh self-build still has the problem for me.

    – So it looks this bug was not killed for good :(

There’s been a big honkin’ xml parse error displayed on the last few days’ builds for MacOS (starting with 7/21), making them unusable.

With the latest nightly build for Linux (Firefox 0.9.1+ Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040724 Firefox/0.9.1+) I can confirm, that there are new icons for the find toolbar and that bug #231393 finally is fixed.
