Well, no one anywhere seems to have had this happen, so I’m wondering if it’s just me.

    Using the installer on Win2K:
    1) The license agreement text is blank.
    2) The installer crashes before finishing the install (installing into a brand-new directory)

  2. wes Says:

same thing happens on XP sp1

  3. Bill Mason Says:

The license text issue was already reported as bug 234962.

I reported the installer crash as bug 234976. Interestingly, if you don’t do the install in a clean directory (that is, install it on top of an existing good install), you don’t crash.

OSX, definitely crashes on starting up:
    — when dropped on top of yesterday’s Application with the old Profile in place, crash on startup (nice new icon in the Dock though)
    — again after running all the standard utilities (prebinding, prefs, day/week/month scripts, cleaning caches) and rebooting, crashes
    — again after removing the old Phoenix folder, to allow Firefox to create a grand new one, crashes

Nice new icon has remained in the Dock now that I’ve tossed the 2/19 build and the Phoenix folder it created, replaced the 2/18 build and my 2/18 Phoenix folder and started up.

Starts up fine, kept the nice new icon in the Dock.

—> Would anyone for whom 2/19 is _not_ crashing OSX please come over to mozillazine forums and tell us anything you care to about your setup? All the posts there so far for 2/19 are crashes.

So seeing “may” here suggests “may not” for some?

For me the nightly builds crash for me when I do anything with the mousewheel (ie. scroll, middle button click). Does this happen for anyone else? It doesn’t happen for me on the recent milestone. I am running XP SP1 with TBE, AiO, googlebar, and Chormedit.

  6. Aniltak Says:

T-b0n3 I have the same problem

  7. Jesse Ruderman Says:

Bug 234576 covers a crash with autoscroll, but not other crashes with the middle mouse wheel/button (clicking on links, scrolling by rolling the wheel). (See comment 7 in the bug.)

“about:mozilla” should be adapted to the name change, don’t you think ?

    [Just kidding … it’s Friday !]
