Just a simple note : my builds will be for some time SVG enabled. Just add it next time, thanks ;o)

  2. MozJF Says:

Forget about my previous note ;o) I will try to make both svg and normal builds ;o)

    Anyway thanks for your site.

Could the bug query experts see if there is a bug filed for this problem: when I middle click on a link that results in a download, like an exe file, an empty tab pops up and then I’m prompted to save the file. But I think that that useless empty tag should close or not be opened. So a middle click on a downloaded link should not result in an empty tab.

I know it doesn’t make much sense to middle click on a link to be downloaded but I do it sometimes and that extra tab is annoying especially since it is an inoperable tab, that is mouse gestures don’t work in it. The equivalent in IE, which is ctrl-alt click on a link that results in a download does not result in a new window.

Last time I filed a bug it was a dup despite my searching for it.

    Brian, maybe http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=231393 ?
What surprises me is that your bug was marked duplicate without a comment giving you the ID of the original bug.

  5. Jean-Marc Gillet Says:

231393 is not really the bug you’re looking for though it explains it a bit, but http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=175124 could be of interest. There would be only one empty tab, “recycled” each time. For a start …

  6. Brian P. Says:

Sorry what I meant was a previous bug I had filed was actually a dup. I was unable to find the original bug for that bug even though I did some searching. I didn’t want to have that happen again. So I haven’t filed a bug for this one yet.

    Alright!! found it: http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=102380

And yes there is already 5 dups of this bug. I avoided #6.

    Thnx anyway Jean-Marc
