Do I have each of the following secondary collection containers under control? * gmail inbox * gmail bugmail folder * google reader * desktop * home directory * bookmarks toolbar (safari) * bookmarks toolbar (firefox) * piles of paper or snail mail anywhere in my room * voicemail Look at the *contexts* in Next. * Have I been neglecting any of my "common" contexts? * Are any of my "rare" contexts coming up? Look at the *items* in Next. * Does every item have at least one of (context, concentration)? If not, I probably haven't figured out what the next action is, and may not have even defined the desired outcome! * Does any item has multiple of (context, concentration)? If so, can I split it up? * Does any item need to become a Project with a defined next-action? (Esp the '⨀4' or '⨀5' items) * Does any item need to be moved to Someday? * Does any item have an impending due date? Does every "project" have an appropriate Next Action? Evaluate my mental state. * Do I have everything out of my head? * Have I been procrastinating on anything? * Worrying? Do any events next week (on my calendar) require preparation? Am I doing anything inefficiently? Can I automate it, improve my workflow, or delegate it?
