I think the devs have finally gone off the edge. I havn't like some of their decisions lately, but this one is just nuts.

Removing the stylesheet UI really burns me... I sure do hope they don't dumb down Firefox to simply an IE clone with better security for the 95% market share.

Same for the Offline Browsing, which I happily use the 'Work Offline' extension for and hope will still work. The talk about removing 'View Source' however, now that's just plain ridiculous. I don't care less if "95% never use it", if they do it then it's clear the power user no longer has a home with Firefox.

It's times like this I can feel the pain of the true Linux gurus, in these days of 'user friendly' distros for everyone and his mother.

Offline - removed because it was broken, not because it bloated the code or UI.

Alternate stylesheet UI - removed because it was broken, not because it bloated the code or UI. It might code back with a different UI, though.

View Source - Ben and Brendan never approved its removal, and it was not removed. See <a href="http://weblogs.mozillazine.org/roadmap/archives/006284.html">http://weblogs.mozillazine.org/roadmap/archives/006284.html</a>
