Tonight's
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7a) Gecko/20040212 Firebird/0.8.0+

didn't crash on startup like the one for Feb. 10th did for me.

Javascript problem -- the recommended test page: <a href="http://www.bodo.com/javame.htm">http://www.bodo.com/javame.htm</a>

still makes a Javascript banner that persists through any and all tabs once opened.

This is with no extensions, starting from a fresh profile, though copying over bookmarks, cookies, etc. but nothing carried over from chrome folder.

I haven't figured out bug reporting formally yet, well enough to know if this is known already. ?

Did anyone else try the latest FirefoxSetup.exe (2004-02-12 or 13, ftp'd from ftp.oregonstate.edu 30 minutes ago) ? It crashes at the very startup with me (XP SP1), even with a new profile.

XML Parsing Error: undefined entity

Thanks. Feel free to "Bugzilla" it if you've the time.
(I lost my Bugzilla password, a password bound to a free mail provider down since last week.)
