100 crash bugs resolved

Today's crash bug triage day was a success. We resolved 104 crash bugs, mostly as worksforme and incomplete. We identified several old bugs as still valid, even important. We demonstrated that the backlog is not impenetrable.

I was impressed with the volunteers in #bugday: tmyoung, kbrosnan, and SpeedEvil all helped throughout the day.

There will be another crash bug triage day next Tuesday. I'm looking forward to finding out what we can accomplish next time!

Here’s a rough list of the crash bugs resolved on Tuesday. I get 110 bugs now (6 more bugs than when I ran the same query last night). Most of these bugs were resolved as worksforme or incomplete.

Here’s a list of bugs we marked as [ccbr]:

    283516 292823 312062 415394

It’s harder to get a list of bugs marked as [needs *] or that we simply commented in. And it will be a while before it’s clear how many bug fixes result from touching the bugs we didn’t resolve, and from helping to clear the backlog in general.
